The Stach Story
Cody is a rodeo bullfighter, which means his job is to stand between a thrown rider and two thousand pounds of bad mood. He says the handlebar mustache is "the only part of me that has never been stepped on."
He grew it at nineteen because every old hand on the circuit had one and he wanted to look like he had been doing this longer than he had. It worked on everyone except the bulls.
In the off-season Cody shoes horses and teaches a kids' roping clinic where the mustache is, by popular demand, always waxed.
