How Induction Works
The Criteria
- Longevity. The mustache must have outlasted at least one trend, one decade, or one divorce.
- Recognition. Strangers should be able to identify the person from the lip alone.
- Cultural impact. Did the stach change how the world saw a sport, a film, a uniform or a presidency?
- Fan votes. Community inductees are chosen by you. Yes, you. Go vote.
Most recent class: Luis Tiant (2026).
Respect the Service Wings
Our Firefighter, Military and Law Enforcement wings honor real people and real service. We keep the jokes for Hollywood and the gratitude for them. Mr. Stach is an independent site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any agency or department.
