Mustache Hall of Fame: Outdoorsmen — Hunting, Fishing & the Wild
Hunters, anglers, guides and wild-kingdom hosts whose mustaches weathered every season. Every inductee in this wing earned the honor the old-fashioned way: by growing it and keeping it.
🦌 Outdoorsmen — Hunting, Fishing & the Wild 12 inducted
Hunters, anglers, guides and wild-kingdom hosts whose mustaches weathered every season. From deer camp to the bass boat to the far side of the TV screen, these are the mustaches of the outdoors. Theodore Roosevelt, founder of the Boone and Crockett Club, is cross-listed here from the Historical wing, as is Buffalo Bill Cody; Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett themselves were famously clean-shaven, so they are honored through the Club that bears their names. Ernest Hemingway, who fished and hunted on several continents, rounds out the guest list.

HOF The Criteria
- Longevity. The mustache must have outlasted at least one trend, one decade, or one divorce.
- Recognition. Strangers should be able to identify the person from the lip alone.
- Cultural impact. Did the stach change how the world saw a sport, a film, a uniform or a presidency?
- Fan votes. Community inductees are chosen by you. Yes, you. Go vote.
Most recent class: Luis Tiant (2026).
