The Stach Story
Gus has owned a two-bay garage on the east side of Detroit for twenty-six years, and his walrus mustache has absorbed more motor oil than most engines. Customers say they trust a mechanic whose mustache has clearly been under a hood.
He grew it in trade school because, in his words, "I wanted to look like I knew what I was doing before I knew what I was doing." Now he knows, and the mustache is just a bonus.
Gus restores a 1970 Chevelle on weekends, and his wife says the car and the mustache get roughly the same amount of wax.
Wanted to look like he knew what he was doing before he did.
The Chevelle
Has found three lost 10mm sockets in the mustache. Total, not at once.
