The Stach Story
Miguel trains cutting horses outside Las Cruces and wears a thick chevron that his abuela says makes him look like her father, which is exactly the point. He grew it at twenty-two after seeing an old family photo and deciding the family resemblance needed help.
He is up before dawn, in the saddle by sunrise, and back at the barn for a second cup of coffee that he swears tastes better filtered through a mustache.
Miguel's horses all have names. His mustache has one too, and he will tell you it responds to it.
